Skin tags are soft, tiny pieces of skin that abnormally stick out, most often appearing on the neck and upper body. Skin tags are harmless and majority of the time do not require removal, but men and women may want them removed because of discomfort they can cause when they get caught on jewelry or rub on clothing.
Skin tags can be removed in one of three ways: freezing, burning, or cutting them off. The method chosen for your individual case will be determined after a consultation examination and possible biopsy. An anesthetic will be applied to alleviate any discomfort.
